The Malvern Hills - Tree of LifeSet out of the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire is a landscape pattern that reflects the 'Tree of Life' of the Kabbalah. There are some interesting differences with the known Kabbalistic Tree but also a number of striking similarities. The question is 'How did this Malvern Tree originate?' One explanation is that this pattern is simply the creation of my fertile mind. However the concept was inspired from a meditation in which myself and one other person both picked up exactly the same idea. I then looked to see whether there was any truth in this concept and the following is the outcome. This discovery was made in 1982 and since then I and others have worked with some of the spiritual energies over lighting and within the Malvern Hills.
The backbone axis of Malvern Hills Tree of Life runs very nearly North-South (358°). The northern end of the Malvern Hills is incorporated into the pattern but in the middle the hills bend to the west and central axis then comes off the hills onto Castlemorton Common. The Primary Patterning of the Tree
The bottom triangle of the 'Tree' is an equilateral triangle linking the sites of Barton Court, the Cross Roads and Dingle Wood. Most people who have 'tuned' into this area sense a more 'yin' or feminine quality. The top half of the pattern comprises an triangle with internal angles of 65° - 65° and 50° with the apex at the Cowley Bank Cross Roads. A vicarage once stood here, possibly indicating the significance of the site. The northern half of the hills are normally felt to be more 'yang'. The Kabbalistic Tree
As can be seen in the above diagram the Malvern Hills 'Tree of Life' appears to work better when the Kabbalistic Tree is shown upside down. This raises interesting questions about the formalisation of the Kabbalistic Tree and also its possible origins. Was it also derived from some landscape patterm? And if so who were the originators of that pattern? What is clear is that the Malvern Tree works best when the 'Kether' point is held in the North. Chakras and the 'Tree'
The Crown Chakra of the Malverns sits around the two peaks of North Hill. These two summits are not unlike the two hemispheres of the brain. The Brow Chakra equates with the highest point on the hills the Worcester Beacon, with its extensive views out over the surrounding countryside. The Throat Chakra sits appropriately at the Wyche Cutting one of the two main crossing points of the 'Hills' linking Worcestershire with Herfordshire. The Heart Chakra is located close to the spring that feeds the 'Holy Well' situated above Malvern Wells. A powerful presence of the 'Divine Feminine' can be sensed here. The Solar Plexus Chakra can be found at the site of the Little Malvern Priory that nestles beside the Hill. The Sacral Chakra is located on Castlemorton Common, with the Base Chakra in the southern part of the common. The Root Chakra can be found at the base of the pattern in Dingle Wood.

Protective Symbols The Lotus can be placed above one's head, under the feet or over a chakric point. ![]() A combination symbol of the ankh, the Sun and the equi-distant cross and circle, which is a very powerful protective and healing symbol. The Flaming Sword is a wonderful symbol for clearing the old energies of a room or space. Self Healing and Inner Development - Connecting to the Click to hear Images of Malvern
